[Highland Park] PRC's "Hard to Recycle" event, May 31
Citizens Against Litter has passed on the following info from the PRC. This is only one of the collections taking place thru the Summer. Bob "Hard to Recycle" Collection to take place in Lawrenceville WHO: A partnership between the Pennsylvania Resources Council, the Allegheny County Health Department http://www.achd.net/>, Appliance Warehouse http://www.appliancewarehouse.com/>, and e Loop LLC WHAT: Collection of major appliances (e.g. refrigerators and air conditioners), cell phones, tires, E-waste, and ink cartridges WHEN: Saturday, May 31st from 10am to 2pm WHERE: Allegheny County Health Department Offices (39th and Penn Avenue, Lawrenceville) DETAILS: Its spring again - the time when people are looking to clean house and get rid of their old stuff. This means time for the "Hard to Recycle" Collection Events. The Pennsylvania Resources Council (PRC) along with the Allegheny County Health Department will be collecting freon and non-freon appliances, e-waste, televisions, tires without rims, ink and toner cartridges and cell phones.
