i'm sending this on behalf of Jan Stayianos, HPCC crimewatch I received today information from the burglary squad, zone 5 of a rash of burglaries in the highland park area. The main items stolen was jewelry, The thief or thieves are getting into the homes through open windows and at times breaking in doors. The police have a person in for questioning that was caught fencing jewelry, he was described as a 56 year old, african american male, but also there could be youths involved. Please close and lock all windows and doors, and watch out for suspicious people around the neighborhood and report to 911 immediately.
