Hi all, We're looking for a couple additional babysitters to add to our list of dependable, responsible, fun people who can help out periodically in the evenings. (I'm finding that the babysitters we currently rely on have work and sport schedules that are really quite full and, therefore, they're rarely available to sit.) We have two kids, a five year-old boy and a 3-year old girl, and a large pup who gets overly excited to greet people entering the house! The ideal babysitter will have his/her own transportation (but we can pick/up drop up those who don't if they live nearby in Highland Park, Morningside, etc), have ideas about how to engage kids is play, not depend on screens, be able to serve up simple dinners (e.g., mac and cheese), and clean up kitchen and play area. Typically, we need a babysitter twice a month. I pay $12/hour and am happy to tip as appropriate.
