The St. Andrew's Adult Ed. Program "Focus on Jesus" continues this coming Sunday, May 27, at 4 p.m., with a presentation by noted Biblical scholar and historian Dr. Ken Bailey, Canon Theologian of the Episcopal Diocese of Pittsburgh. His topic: "Jesus and the Politics of First Century Palestine." Refreshments follow. We hope, as we consider Jesus as a person of "political significance" in the First Century, to begin a conversation about the ways in which understandings about Jesus continue to frame and shape our political concerns.
