Hello Highland Park, I am currently researching the below complaint and will send an officer to the neighbors home to take a report. Please be mindful that 911 are NOT the police and we absolutely support the Highland Park Community and will adapt the rules to accommodate special cases like Bonnie's. Yesterday (Saturday), 3 more pickets were pulled out between 0800 & noon. The police said that my neighbor can't call the vandalism in because she's not the property owner. I do have a tenant and I'm going to email her. If you're walking the neighborhood, please consider taking a camera and capturing criminal activity. I can't do much from here but find it a special crime that the police won't support someone calling in a problem. What if there's serious crime in one of the vacant houses, would the response (or lack) be the same. I'm open for any ideas.
