Hi Neighbors, Some black locust trees came down, and were unfortunately left on a site that I¹m helping to manage. I don¹t have a chipper or equipment to easily take care of the trees, so I¹m hoping there¹s someone out there that might want some firewood? The location ­ Broad and N St Clair Street in Garland Park, near the Pennley Place Apartments (between Negley and Penn Circle near the fire station) - if you email or call my cell I can give you a more exact location. The trees are pretty long, so a saw would be ideal, as would a truck. According to a tree expert, these trees burn well once they¹re seasoned, and make excellent fence posts...
