Hi Neighbors,

Some black locust trees came down, and were unfortunately left on a site that I’m helping to manage. I don’t have a chipper or equipment to easily take care of the trees, so I’m hoping there’s someone out there that might want some firewood?

The location – Broad and N St Clair Street in Garland Park, near the Pennley Place Apartments (between Negley and Penn Circle near the fire station) - if you email or call my cell I can give you a more exact location.

The trees are pretty long, so a saw would be ideal, as would a truck.

According to a tree expert, these trees burn well once they’re seasoned, and make excellent fence posts...

Hope that someone can use them!
