It seems there's been some misunderstanding about the email I sent to the listserve about the local Obama/Biden organizing meeting. The meeting was Tuesday night at 7pm. I shortsightedly only wrote 'tonight' in my post, and since it didn't get posted until today (Thursday), people got confused. Sorry about that. In any case, I'm not a coordinator or anything. My wife and I just went this past Tuesday to volunteer for the first time after getting a call. We made some phone calls, and here's some other stuff I found out: They will be having the grand opening for the East End Headquarters this coming Tuesday Sept. 9 at 6pm, again at 125-127 N. Highland. Also, I gather that they have organizing meetings every Tuesday at 7pm. If you're interested in volunteering, I'd suggest heading down there this coming Tuesday. If you can't make it on a Tuesday, you could probably drop by anytime the office is open and let someone there know that you want to volunteer.
