Our home was robbed by the same crew the week after Joan’s first robbery. At that time the police said they planned to increase patrols, including in unmarked cars, in HP. If this has happened, they have been very successful at being inconspicuous. I’d recommend that community members and perhaps HPCC officers contact the police to request additional surveillance given that this crew— the MO seems to be the same— is now making repeat visits as well as hitting new locations. Given that these robberies are home invasions, we’ve taken to checking that the car and all windows and doors are locked when we turn in for the night and taking purses, wallets, phones, keys and laptops to the bedroom with us. That doesn’t guarantee we won’t be robbed, but it offers a little extra protection for the things that are most inconvenient to lose. Extremely sorry to hear this.
HPCC, what is going to be done about public safety. Previously a neighbor reported their car was stolen while they were in process of leaving the house, with baby almost in the car. I’ll repeat what I have said before, let’s get video cameras at intersections.

Neighbors, Please take all precautions against someone breaking into your house! We were burglarized in October and were burglarized again in the night last night. My car, purse, and PlayStation were taken. This person or people know us and our habits because they used the remote control kept in an obscure area to open the garage door and take my car. They cut window screens. Be careful. I hope they rot in hell.
