I have dug up a small amount of red raspberry plants, and put them on my front steps at 931 Mellon St for anyone who wants them. These are kind of small plants, but they bloom twice a year - June and September (or there abouts). So if you do not get fruit this summer, the fall should give you some. The canes will get to 6-7 feet long, and I just let them grow with no support. Mine grow about 20 feet North of a 70-foot maple tree, so they will produce in the shade with tons of surface roots around them. They would probably do pretty good in the sun also. They spread by underground runner, but they are not too hard to dig up when they go too far. There are probably only about 10 plants in the two pots. I will probably be digging more up later, but these were growing into a path that I walk on. Bob
