***Yoga at Creative Fitness Pittsburgh ** Classes Begin: May 1, 2012 @ 6:45-730pm * 5406 Penn Ave Pittsburgh, PA 15206 412-361-6000 Our instructor Alison recently moved to Pittsburgh from San Francisco, and is excited to offer yoga to anyone and everyone. Her classes are donation-based to ensure all are welcome (If you have the means, suggested donation is $10 but no one is turned away for lack of funds). She also offers private and small group instruction. Her fun, creative classes focus on alignment, balance, connection to the breath and awareness of the mind For me, yoga is about bringing all parts of ourselves into harmony - thought, speech & action. The physical practice is a metaphor for the rest of life; yoga asks us to get curious about ourselves and how we show up in the world. I believe yoga can make our body stronger and more flexible, but I also believe it can teach us about our whole lives, how to pay attention and be more of who we really are. Alison has been practicing yoga for over 10 years and is a 200-hr certified Kripalu yoga teacher. She lived at Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health (in Western Mass.) for a year as part of their service learning program and had the opportunity to study with many teachers including Seane Corn, Dharma Mittra, and Desiree Rumbaugh. She also studied partner yoga and Thai Massage in Thailand and incorporates assisted stretches into her classes. * please make sure to call and reserve your space in class 412-361-6000 or 412-378-7300 Cathleen Fink Creative Fitness Pittsburgh 5406 Penn Ave. Pittsburgh, Pa 15206 412-378-7300 Web:www.creativefitnesspgh.com email:cathy@creativefitnesspgh.com "Vincit qui si, vencit" He who conquers himself conquers all...........
