Re: Legibility of individual messages in Digest Format Hello all- I don't know if this is a problem others are experiencing, but I subscribe to the listserv in digest format, and this comes through as a numbered list of subject lines and senders (by name, not email address) and then one continuous string of the text of all of the emails. There are also individual email attachments, but the file type is very cumbersome to load in a browser. I use yahoo mail, but I assume this may be common to many webmail interfaces? Just so everyone is aware, it is often very difficult to find the text from a specific post, and the content of users' posts often relies so much on the subject line that it makes no sense within the digest. For example: This email: Subject: "Item for sale description" From: "john.doe@address.com" Body: "Email me if interested!" Would appear in the digest as a subject entry on a list with the sender's name: Today's Topics: 1... 7. "Item for sale description" (John Doe) 8... Then way down in the middle of the page, without any breaks between the previous and following messages would be: ... "Email me if interested!" ... And nothing else. Just to let you know, I have to assume that this is how a lot of subscribers are seeing your post. If you want to help us understand and maybe even respond, the easiest way would be to restate all info in the subject and provide contact information, both within the body of the email. I'm not sure if it would work, but hitting "Enter" a few times at the beginning and the end of the message might help to separate it from the adjacent messages, unless the digest function deletes these? I'll try it on this email and we'll see... Thanks for listening, Matt
