Hello, all! This Saturday & Sunday (May 19th & 20th), the Pittsburgh Public Market it holding a seedling sale! Local farms are bringing in seedlings of all sorts of veggies, herbs & flowers. Farms represented include certified-organic and certified naturally-grown farms, as well as some conventional growers. Some folks are also bringing in specially-made containers for raised-bed gardening and excellent, organic soils. There may be other items as well, such as tools and gardening supplies, depending on what our vendors can fit in their vehicles. So, if you are in need of any more items for your garden, consider supporting local family-owned farms and come and get it at the Market, which is located in the old Produce Terminal Building on Smallman Street in the Strip District.
