My wife and I had the great pleasure to meet two charming young men, part of a family of 6. who recently arrived from Seattle having started in Bhutan, traveling to Tibet, thence to one of the Arab Emerites, to US in Ny/Nj to Seattle and to Pittsburgh where they have some family contacts....They are political refugees currently living in Castle Shannon. We were contacted after we contacted the Jewish Family and Childrens's service, offering a dining room table to someone in need...(getting our attic cleaned out) the JF&CS being an agency which tries to provide assistance in many ways to new Americans.. These two young men arrived by car, at an aggreed upon time (aided by a GPS and pretty good command of English, WITH TOOLS TO DISASSEMBLE THE TABLE, AND TO MARK THE PARTS IN AN ORGANIZED FASHION TO REASSEMBLE THE TABLE. They are very smiley, polite, appealing young men, who have a truck that could be available to them, and they are hoping to get beds from 5 people to sleep on. They mentioned two double beds would do, and one single, but I imagine that any portion of that amount from one source would be welcome. They can be reached directly by email @ dhital.madhav@yahoo.com They would also greatly appreciate a computer desk. Any help would be greatly appreciated! David and Betty Segel
