To that end, we offer two programs designed to help build strong relationships between cops and community. *Police & Youth Small Group Meetings* Our small-group meetings are geared towards young men and women ages 13-19. The sessions are designed to break down the walls that exist between police officers and young adults. Each session lasts about two hours and consists of 5-10 police officers meeting for lunch or dinner with a small group of teens. Our officers come in street clothes and we provide the food as well. These meetings are informal and are the primary focus is to build personal connections between our officers and young people. *Procedural Justice & Implicit Bias Workshops* Our Procedural Justice & Implicit Bias workshops are 3-hour sessions where we provide the community with the highlights of the training that we provide every officer in the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police. Key topics include: Giving citizens a voice, neutral decision-making, respect, transparency, and recognizing one's own biases. These sessions typically have 15-50 participants with a significant amount of group work. *If you are interested in setting-up either of these sessions, please click on the corresponding link below! * Police & Youth Small Group Meetings I'm Interested! <jason.lando@pittsburghpa.gov?subject=I%20am%20interested%20in%20setting-up%20a%20small-group%20youth%20meeting%20with%20zone%205%20officers.> Procedural Justice & Implicit Bias Community Workshops I'm Interested! <jeffrey.upson@pittsburghpa.gov?subject=I%20am%20interested%20in%20setting%20up%20a%20Community%20Procedural%20Justice%20workshop.> *Our mailing address is:* Pittsburgh Bureau of Police Zone 5 Station 1401 Washington Boulevard Pittsburgh, PA 15206 (412) 665-3605 Want to change how you receive these emails?
