Hello HPers, I just wanted to make sure you were all aware that the Friendship Flower & Folk Festival is this Saturday (May 13th) from 11a - 4p at the Baum Grove (the park immediately behind Aldi's at Roup & S. Fairmount Streets) If you have not attended before, it is a family friendly event that features (as the name would imply) live entertainment, locally grown plants, heirloom vegetables and Mother's Day baskets as well as a book sale, raffle, and demonstrations from Chicks in the Hood, Burgh's Bees, the Animal Rescue League and so much more. Kids activities include a bounce castle as well as crafting tables, and more. There will be food available, and all proceeds from the food, flower and book sales go to benefit the maintenance of Baum Grove.
