Glad to pass this along on behalf of our St. Andrew's Outreach friends at the Homeless Childrens' Education Fund . . . . Lunch and Learn, a new outreach to teenagers and young adults experiencing homelessness on the streets of Pittsburgh, is asking for concerned individuals and groups to help by purchasing a pizza lunch for about $35 with tip. Every Wednesday the Gay Lesbian Community Center (GLCC) downtown is hosting a drop in for these at-risk young adults and teens. Concerned community groups have the pizza delivered at 12:45 pm and the GLCC invites various program volunteers to present the "Learn" part. After that they show a movie. Each teen attending is given 2 bus tickets in case they want to take the bus out to the EECM Soup Kitchen in the back of ELPC.
