I am hoping to find either a room in an apartment or house, a one bedroom apartment, or a carriage house to rent for $600/month or less including utilities in Highland Park or another East End neighborhood by January 2012. I would prefer a place with some outdoor space, laundry on-site, and public transportation within walking distance. I am a 28 year old female who works full-time for the University of Pittsburgh. I consider myself to be a laid back and sensible person. I tend to get along easily with most people and haven't had any complaints from previous roommates. I am a fairly neat person without being a neat freak -- I always clean up after cooking, keep shared areas tidy, and maintain general housekeeping as a habit. I do not smoke or own pets but I don't mind if my housemates do. I usually have embarrassingly early bedtimes during the week but I stay active and go out most weekends. My ideal housemates would also be young professionals who are LGBTQ friendly. If it might apply, I would be willing to provide child care or some cleaning services in exchange for rent reduction.
