Hi. I wanted to put a plug in for 2 incredible painters: Cyle Dowling and his cousin Mike Browning. They are painting the inside of our house this week, and our little ol' "nice-enough" house is being transformed. Since Monday morning at 8:30, Cyle and Mike have shown up, worked for 9-10 hours every day, even in this crazy 95-degree heat, and done really excellent work These guys are amazing: meticulous, fair, honest, work like dogs, knowledgeable, flexible, extremely accommodating, etc. Honestly, I can't say enough good things about them. They show up, sand/repair walls as needed, wash, prime if needed, and paint 2 coats of Sherwin Williams. I anticipated that it'd be a huge pain to have painters here all week, but they've been so organized and personable and low-key that it's been a joy to have them here. Oh: plus theirs was one of the lowest bids that we got. If you know anyone who needs to have some painting done (interior or exterior), you might want to forward this email to them. I was a little skittish at first about going with *Student* painters, but things couldn't have gone better.
