Hello HP Neighbors, I have received many emails letting me know people thought this was a good idea. I had one person who wrote about a postal worker at the Post Office emptying the out side bin and throwing the rubber bands that where on Christmas Cards on the ground. So my suggestion is that you ask your postman in person or leave him a note to see if he wants them back so they can be reused. I hope he is like my Postman and wants them back. Thanks, Brian I know this is a very small thing but I get a lot of mail and it mostly comes with rubber bands. I asked my Postman if he could reuse them and would like me to but them out for him to reuse when I saved bunch. He said definitely that he would reuse them until they where worn out. So I'm asking for all of us to save the rubber bands, if you get them, and leave them out for your Postman when you accumulate a bunch. I try to be as green as I can and reusing even such small things as rubber bands is much better than just tossing them in the trash and imagine if everyone did this how much money the USPS would save over the long haul. Thanks for helping with this if you can, Brian
