Dear Fellow Highland Park Community Members: Pittsburgh Soccer in the Community is excited to have a new home, right in the shadows of our community in a new state-of-the-art Field House in Stanton Heights that includes an indoor turf field. The facility is located at North Aiken Avenue at the top of Black Street (behind the new North Aiken Commons development). This was made possible through a partnership with the Neighborhood Academy, which has built its new school facility on the same grounds. Pittsburgh Soccer in the Community (PSC) was founded in December 2004 by former English professional soccer players James Meara and Mark Taylor with the aim of providing children in “at-risk” communities of Pittsburgh with soccer tuition and lifestyle skills. Since then, PSC has reached the lives of over 700 children in numerous communities throughout the Pittsburgh area and beyond. PSC will be holding its annual fund raising event this Saturday, November 12 at the Field House. It's not too late to register to attend this fun event which will feature great food from Labriola's, live music and an opportunity to check out the new facility that will serve Pittsburgh's youth for many years to come. If you or anyone you know would be interested in attending this fun event (more details below), please contact me or James Meara ( jamesmeara@hotmail.com) *by Thursday, November 10*, *John Krysinsky * *Catch and Shoot Productions * Marketing * Event Management * Writing (412) 225-9397 catchandshootproductions@gmail.com *Visit our Facebook page, Catch & Shoot Productions*
