As entered Highland Park today for my peaceful morning walk, I was greeted by two large signs, both hand-painted on plywood with orange paint, the color commonly used in the construction industry. The first sign reads " One way" with an arrow pointing to the right. The second sign says " Vote Bush". My perception, which my be incorrect, is that they were put there by the contractor who is working on the fountain area. I called the DPW at 255-2365 to complain about it. Perhaps if they hear from a few of us they will remove it. Bill Bollendorf Galerie Macondo 5536 Bryant St. Pittsburgh, PA 15206 412-661-1498 www.artshaitian.com
