Heats up quickly; directions for using are detailed on the stickers on the side of the mop. Includes one washable cleaning pad for the mop head and a water-filling container. Includes carpet glider attachment - snap the plastic frame on, then you can steam-clean carpets and rugs. I used this steam mop regularly to clean a large rug we had that was too large to wash and too shaggy to use a carpet cleaner on and it worked great.
