Hello, neighbors! The Highland Park Garden Club would like to invite you all to attend our monthly meeting tomorrow (Saturday, April 14th) at 10:00 am. This months program will be an informal, member-led chat and discussion among all attendees entitled "How Does Your Spring Garden Grow?" Because it's finally here, we thought it would be fun to talk about all the exciting signs of spring we're seeing in our gardens and in our neighborhood. 1. What's your favorite sign of spring? It could be a particular plant, a bird, bees: you name it! 2. What are you noticing coming up in your garden right now? Weed love for you to share some information about one or two plants that you’re happy to see putting out new growth and blooms in your garden. When did you start it? Why do you love it? Is there some Family history--or even folklore--about these plants? How long have you been growing them? Any hints and tips you can share with us on how to keep them flourishing and at their best this growing season? 3. Come with your gardening concerns. While we can't guarantee that we'll have the answers, we’ll certainty be happy to brainstorm and try to point you in the right direction! Let's share our excitement for, and varied experiences of, experiences of urban gardening! There will be some light refreshments and perhaps a few small items for sale! This program is FREE and all are welcome to attend. If you enjoy your experience, we welcome you to join the club for only $15/year, which includes a few great member perks! We hope to see you there!
