The Highland Park Garden Club of Pittsburgh invites you the second program in their Sustainable Gardening Series.
SUSTAINABLE GARDENING PRACTICES & HOME VEGETABLE GARDENING.
Art King, co-owner of Harvest Valley Farms, a fourth-generation family farm in Valencia, PA, will explain the sustainable growing practices they use, what they grow, how they grow it, and how we can apply this to our own urban and backyard gardens. Also included is a description of the more than 400 local products available at their Farm Market and Bakery.
Saturday, March 20, 2021 10.00 a.m. – 11.00 a.m. (with extra time for follow-up Q&A) HPGC members: a business meeting will follow the presentation.
