Podiatrist recommendation for plantar fasciitis?

Can anybody recommend a doctor who helped treat and (hopefully) eliminate plantar fasciitis? I've seen one podiatrist already and got a cortisone injection, which helped for a little while, but the pain is back. He also didn't recommend any sort of exercises or physical therapy, and after talking to others who have dealt with the problem I think this is maybe an abnormal treatment plan.
