[Highland Park] Saving the USPS

I know this is a very small thing but I get a lot of mail and it mostly comes with rubber bands. I asked my Postman if he could reuse them and would like me to but them out for him to reuse when I saved bunch. He said definitely that he would reuse them until they where worn out. So I'm asking for all of us to save the rubber bands, if you get them, and leave them out for your Postman when you accumulate a bunch. I try to be as green as I can and reusing even such small things as rubber bands is much better than just tossing them in the trash and imagine if everyone did this how much money the USPS would save over the long haul.
