The Fortieth Day of Eastertide is Ascension Thursday, one of the great theologically rich and spiritually powerful festivals of the Church Year. On Thursday evening May 5 join us at St. Andrew's for a service of Choral Evensong featuring the Choirs of St. Andrew's Church, under the direction of Peter Luley, and of Calvary Church, East Liberty, under the direction of Alan Lewis. Music by C.V. Stanford and Ralph Vaughan Williams. Our Guest Preacher will be the Rev. T.J. Freeman, Curate of Calvary Church.
