Hello neighbors! Have you heard of Kizomba? Kizomba is a nice and relaxing partner dance from Angola, Africa. Its musical roots come from the fusion of Semba (Angolan music) and Zouk music from the Caribbean. It's a beautiful dance to very delightful music... Steel City Kizomba, based in Pittsburgh PA, offers classes of all levels for whoever wants to learn the dance. We are excited to start a new session of our 4-week Kizomba Fundamentals on Thursday, October 22nd at the Kingsley Association. Join us and bring a friend! No partner required Kizomba Fundamentalsby Mike & MelissaOctober 22nd-November 12th7pm - 8:30pm Location: Kingsley Association in East Liberty Dance studio - 3rd floor 6435 Frankstown Avenue Pittsburgh PA 15206 Each week, this 90 minute lesson will help you build a solid foundation in Kizomba with: - Guided instruction in the technique of Kizomba as it is traditionally danced in order to establish a strong foundation - Education about the culture of Kizomba and its evolution around the world - Education about the music and different genres in its evolution A new cycle of 4-week lessons starts every 6 weeks (4 week lesson with 2 week break in between). Completion of the 4 lesson cycle is required to participate in our ongoing Kizomba Improvers series.
