UPMC DAY OF CONVERSATION INVITATION NATIONAL HEALTHCARE DECISIONS DAY
Saturday, April 16, 2011, 9 a.m. to noon Herberman Conference Center at UPMC Cancer Pavilion, UPMC Shadyside
Advance care planning involves making decisions about the type of medical care you would want, and who you would want to make decisions for you if you became unable to speak for yourself. It is a way to provide peace of mind to yourself and your loved ones.
Join us in learning more about advance directives, how to start a conversation with your loved ones, and about your options. At the end of the session, assistance will be available if you would like to fill out an advance directive.
Registration and a complimentary breakfast will begin at 8:15 a.m. Parking will be provided, and CEUs are being pursued.
For questions or to register for the event, call412-802-6560.
