All, I have a 6 bedroom house (30 square) in highland park with slate roof and I need a new shingle roof. Here are my thoughts/ criteria so far, I would appreciate any input: 1. I feel like I need a medium to big company for this size job, my past experiences with roofers was for smaller projects and although I had good experiences with them, a few of them have declined because of size. Can any anyone recommend any good medium to big companies? I will meet with Likar and Josiwitch, are there others? 2. Someone recommended Derek Ames, does anyone have experiences with him good or bad they could share? Someone also thought Emmanuel Taylor might be good? 3. I definitely want to hire a roofing company, not a gc who will sub it out, so I would appreciate only roofing company recommendations. 4. I already know I can't afford a Rick Johns type company, I'm not looking for the Cadillac company, rather the VW golf roofing company. Thank you, Your Neighbor Sent from my iPhone
