I have said this before and I’ll say it again, to the attention of HPCC, I would like video cameras in the neighborhood. We had the murder of the two sisters on Chislett, and now have a very dangerous and bold car jacking. What will it take to have this be a priority. I love living in the city, and our density can lead to crime, but it also means cameras can be effective. On Thu, Nov 21, 2019 at 9:40 AM Carrie Roy <carolina.l.roy@gmail.com> wrote:
Our car was stolen this morning at 8am while I was loading it up for the day. It was running and a teenage boy in a black puffy jacket quickly jumped in the driver's seat, locked me out, and pulled away while I was holding on to the passenger side handle and shouting and my husband and toddler were standing in the doorway of the house. Luckily the toddler hadn't been put in her carseat yet and no one was hurt. There were quite a few people on the street too, so it was pretty bold!
Keep a lookout for a very dark gray Subaru Forester, license plate JMG8534. We live on Wellesley, he drove to the end of the street and left up Heberton towards the park.
