There was some info posted on this recently, but I didn't save it. You can put it out with the trash (I think through the first week or two of January, but I'm not sure), but the drawback is that it will just end up in a landfill. Better, if you can do it, is to take it someplace that will recycle, such as Construction Junction in Point Breeze or the City recycling drop-off on Dallas at Hamilton. The city drop-off is open 8:00 am to 2:00 pm Monday through Friday. Be aware that they charge a fee if you bring your stuff in a truck or a trailer. In a car it is free (you must be a city resident and show your driver's license). You can take it whole (if you can manage that in your car). If you bag it in plastic, you must remove it from the bag(s) before you leave it. Paper bags are OK. My family and I recently moved to Highland Park and, in the process, were very grateful for an enormous number of cardboard moving boxes that a friend who had also recently moved passed on to me. I would love to pay the favor forward, so please get in touch if you or someone you know is in need of moving boxes. I hate to take this much cardboard in for recycling when I'm sure there is someone who can reuse them.

Sunday, December 24 [Sunday morning, December 24, is the 4th Sunday of Advent, with Advent Services including the 9 a.m. Service of Holy Communion, in the Chapel, and the 11 a.m. Service of Morning Prayer. The Church School and Youth Groups will not be meeting. An informal "Coffee and Conversation" will convene at 10 a.m. in the Parish Hall. Nursery Care is available for infants and younger children during both services.] The 4:30 p.m. Christmas Eve Family Service will include the annual Blessing of the Creche, a Homily for Children and Families, Holy Communion, and the singing of familiar Christmas carols. The 10:30 p.m. Christmas Eve Service of Music will feature St. Andrew's Choir, Soloists, and a Chamber Orchestra, under the direction of Organist and Choirmaster Peter Luley, singing the Magnificat in D Major, by J.S. Bach. Immediately following, at about 11 p.m., will be the traditional candlelight Christ Mass of Christmas Eve, with Christmas Meditation, Holy Communion, anthems and instrumental music, and the singing of carols.
