[Highland Park] Are you missing an orange cat?

I live up by the tennis courts on North Saint Clair and over the last week or two I have been seeing quite a bit of an orange tabby cat. I think it's a girl. It has no collar and appears to be about 1-2 years old. It is really friendly and comes quickly to get its ears scratched. If it belongs to you, please let me know. It is a bit on the skinny side. Hello all! Just wanted to let you know that Prudance, our missing white foofy cat, has returned -- very grumpy, but still beautiful! I just want to thank those of you who reported sightings of our missing cat and those of you who offered help (humane traps and all!). I very much appreciate your concern and compassion. I found Prudance with a yellow cord tied quite tightly around her neck and the very long length of it had become tangled in the brush in the walkway between our house and our neighbor's. But she cried loud enough for us to come to her rescue -- which is unusual as Pru normally never says a word! Again, my thanks to our caring, concerned neighbors and this list!! A neighbor found a large Yorkshire Terrier with a blue collar wandering the streets this morning. It is a male. The dog was found somewhere on Wellesley Ave between Mellon and N St Clair. He took the dog to Doublebbee's Dog Grooming at the corner of Wellesley and Mellon St. Call Bill at 412-361-4681 if you want to claim the dog.

We had a green and silver Razor style scooter stolen off of our front porch last night. If anyone finds it, we'd appreciate having it back. This is the second scooter we've had stolen from our home this year. Chop, WOK & Talk! an Asian cooking school at 5404 Penn & S. Aiken Avenues is looking for a "foodie" type of person to help with corporate team building events and private parties at the cooking school. Sometimes the parties are at lunchtime, evenings, or weekends. This would be occasional help--3-4 times a month. It would entail 4 hours of work, including set up, dishes, and clean-up. That's great news, of course in these financial times... we'll see. I walk past that building every day and it's been one of the most intermittent renovation jobs I've ever seen. This would be an upbeat addition given the status of other businesses on the street. I heard [anecdotally only] that Pizzaburghs would not be reopening, and the 'remodeling' sign has been up for quite a few months now. It also appears that Reynolds has gone from weekends-only to not opening at all, though I recall an email a few weeks ago from Reynold to say they were also doing some remodeling. Hopefully they can reopen soon, as we're going into one of the better times of the year for restaurant businesses. [Highland Park] Recycling bins lost after storm last night

Hi everyone, I'm trying to locate both my recycle bins (the small rectangular ones) that blew off my sidewalk last night during the storms. I live on Heberton St (close to Bryant and Hampton) and am wondering if someone saw two "orphaned" bins close to their homes.
