Hello newsletter recipients! You may have heard that the Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority had a mishap with their bills this month. Approximately 13,000 customers received a bill that was thousands of dollars too high! New bills are being sent out now. If you are one of the 13,000 and don't receive a corrected bill by next Tuesday, please call 412-255-2423. Thank you! I know a lot of folks have posted about this, but I didn't need a contractor at the time. I need someone who can patch concrete steps and cut a hole in the second floor ceiling to create an attic opening. any plumber recommendations are also welcome. thanks so much! -Kimberly

I have a friend who will soon be visiting a school that she helps support in Uganda, and she would like to take a microscope to them. Does anyone have one left over from student days or child-rearing years that you would be willing to donate to an excellent cause? If so, please let me know. Dear Neighbors, We are considering the Waldorf School pre-K program for our son and are interested in whether anyone has any experience with that program, or with the school in general. Also, I have been trying to get more information about St. Andrew's Nursery School. After many days of calling and not reaching any person or even an answering machine I have to wonder whether the school is still in operation. Does anyone have any information about that program? Dear neighbors, it seems that I sent a file that couldn't be opened in my earlier email. Sorry about that. Please find pictures attached to this email (hopefully). The tall corner shelf has been sold, the rest is: - IKEA black and white computer work station - 2 IKEA floor lamps (one with a white paper screen, one with an deep yellow/orangy glass shade) - Thule Speedway bike rack for 2 bikes - 2 comfy, foldable recliners with sun roof (or snow-protection for now...) - 2 IKEA foldable plastic chairs, one red, one white - 2 space heaters (1 hot-air, 1 radiator type) - IKEA white TV stand (low shelf on wheels) and our car, a silver Honda Civic (no picture attached), 5-speed manual, 127,000 miles, well kept, no accidents, AC, cassette/radio, emission test until November 2010.
