All, If you get a message informing you that your highlandparkpa.com password has been reset and is an attachment, please delete it--it is not legitimate. I've seen these making it past mail filters for highlandparkpa.com and others--generally it's good advice to just delete them regardless of what site they are for, because few (if any) sites handle password resets this way, and the attachment is more than likely malware. [Highland Park] half-marathon registration transfer available

Dear Neighbors: If anyone would like to run the Pittsburgh Half Marathon this Sunday, May 2, I have a registration available for transfer. I've had some trouble with a knee and probably should sit this one out. If there are no takers, I'll take a chance and run it. I paid $60 for the registration, so I will be asking for $30 cash for the transfer. You would also pay the race organizers $25 per the instructions below when you pick up the packet and bib number. At $55, this is still a very good deal because the registration fee was as high as $80. When you give me the $30, in exchange I will give you the completed transfer form along with a copy of my id that you need to complete the transfer. You would then take the documents to the convention center this Friday or Saturday to pick up your registration packet. How do I transfer my registration? The original runner will need to fill out the Registration Transfer form, click here, and give it to the person they are transferring their registration to, along with a copy of their ID. The new runner will pick up your packet, take it to Runners Services, pay the $25 transfer fee and have the registration transfer into their name. Please note that the new runner will receive the original runners shirt size, but they could try and swap at the T-Shirt exchange table in the Expo. I spoke to the Pittsburgh Marathon organizers this morning and they said they are still in need of more volunteers at Relay Exchange 4 at Negley and Penn. The marathon is this Sunday, May 2nd.
