I'm riding in the MS150 next weekend (150 miles on a bicycle, 2 days, raises money for MS Research) and they suggest having 2 water bottles mounted to your bike. I know there has to be someone with a box of like 15 water bottle cages in their basement. I'd like to adopt 2 of them to a good home. Hello Highland Park List, I called David Weeber from his Highland Park list posting on 5/26, and asked him to help me with some chores and apartment cleanup to prepare for a new tenant. I am happy to report that David arrived as promised, and did an excellent job with everything I asked him to do. I can highly recommend David to anyone who needs help with anything he lists in his (attached) posting. I am a satisfied customer, and will call David again if I need additional help. [Highland Park] Two cats (bro & sis) in need of new home

Due to new jobs that require enormous travel, we're very sad to have to put our two cats, brother and sister from the same litter approx. 9 years old, up for adoption. We've had them since they were kittens. They have very similar markings. The female is a super soft gray and white cat. The male is black and white with very long whiskers. They've never been sick (except a little chin rash now and then); they have been spayed and neutered; they're well-trained and very social. They're very soft, very loving cats. The male cat loves to cuddle, but the female loves to be pet, but not held. They must be adopted as a pair. They're perfect cats for a family (though perhaps a family without a dog). They love to be outside in an enclosed yard (one of them will stay in the yard, the other goes on a leash and loves sitting in the grass). They're very entertaining, but not mischievous. If your family is ready for a wonderful pair of cats, please consider these two. We very much want them in a loving home where people are around, and, unfortunately, we can't provide that any more. [Highland Park] Free Boxes!

Neighbors, We have a bunch of lingering boxes from our move that we're looking to part with. We have probably 25 boxes of various sizes - from small book boxes through large wardrobe - they're all genuine "moving boxes", used only once. We also have quite a bit of packing paper. We'll set them out at the end of the driveway on Sunday if anyone wants them. Please let me know if anyone's interested and would rather come by this afternoon or Saturday. [Highland Park] Gerbils make great pets....

My son has been breeding gerbils and I wanted to see if there were homes out there for any of the offspring we have. He would like to sell them for $5 per pair (they like to live in community) -- they usually sell for $8 each at a pet store.
