Hi, I am posting this for a friend who is looking for an apartment in Highland Park. They would like to move in sometime between July 1st and August 1st. My name is Luca Zoia and I am a researcher on IT & Networking. I will study IT security stuff and be a teaching assistant at INI – CMU for one year (then I move to Silicon Valley to develop a project). My wife Chiara works for IBM Europe as a IT Auditor. We are looking for an apt (one or two bedroom will be ok) with typical amenities like air conditioning, dishwasher, refrigerator, stove/oven, and laundry on-site. hi, sorry i didn't think of this earliers...the east end thrift shop at 5123 penn ave re-sells donated things of all sorts at very cheap prices; located in a low income area, the volunteers there provide an essential service to the community. they always need childrens' & infant clothing and "professional" womens' clothing (for sojourners house) and donating keeps your stuff out of the landfills. so, a very good thing to do.they usually open from 10 to 4 but may be closed on mon? phone 412 361 6010jon nelson

Can anyone recommend a repair person who can replace some glass panes in our metal casement windows and then reglaze. Several of the panes are on the second floor so it would have to be someone willing to get on a ladder. Thanks Marsha

With the recent rains, we've been getting large pools of water in our basement. It appears to be seeping in from the outside. Does anyone have any good referrals for someone who does basement sealing? Or is this the kind of project I could do myself? Thanks --Jack
