[Highland Park] Walk in the Woods - This Wednesday

Neighbors, Come on out for a Walk in the Woods (the park) on Wednesday evening, June 9, 2010 at 6:30pm. We start at the fountain, walk in the woods as much as we can, and end back at the fountain about an hour later. The walk is fun for everyone but keep in mind that paths and steps in the park can be uneven. Also, there's a chance of rain or even storms on Wednesday so at the very least be prepared for a little bit of mud. I'm wondering if anyone else has seen them in Highland Park. I have seen 2 in the past 3 weeks. One was running in the park near the pool and the other was running a couple of nights ago on East Liberty Blvd. I am certain that they were not dogs. In 15 years of living in Highland Park, I have never seen them before. Kate

Do you have scraps of plywood I can salvage? I am looking for scraps of plywood for an art camp. I can use pieces that are as small as 1’ X 1' and as large as can fit in my van. It needs to be at least ¾” thick. Could be painted or plank shelving. Don’t mind a few nail holes. Dear Neighbors: Can anyone recommend a contractor for both interior and exterior work for snow and water-related damage? This is for damaged walls and ceiling (inside) and a rotting beam (outside). There's also some minor siding repair. [Highland Park] LOST: Black, Neutered Male Cat - Stanton & Negley Area

On Monday, June 7, my cat, Yves ("Eves") went missing. Yves is entirely black, with short hair, a normal length tail, and yellow eyes. He is a medium sized cat, weighing about 12 - 15 pounds. Unfortunately, he is not wearing a collar. Yves is vaccinated and neutered. He is a shy indoor cat.
