[Highland Park] Mid-90's Taurus wagon

Hello Neighbors My mother just upgraded her vehicle, and has a mi-90's Ford Taurus wagon that she no longer needs. I am not sure of the year, but I would say at least 15-16 years old. The car is in fair condition, and needs a head gasket. It runs, but not advisable since all the coolant leaks right out. She is planning to call one of those places that will take the car either as a donation or giving you a few bucks and towing it away. So if anyone thinks they can use this car, and decides before Monday morning, let me know. I hate to see it be junked, since it just needs some expensive repairs to keep on being of use. [Highland Park] Free Bed and Computer Desk

We have done some reorganizing to create more space in our home, and are giving away two items in great shape. I hope someone will take advantage of a good situation, and come haul: 1. An Ikea loft bed, reversible for kids to sleep low when they are younger, and then raised up when they are older. Color on frame is a light wood, with light blue accent. We are keeping the mattress. Bed has been disassembled, and is an easy assembly. 2. A small computer desk, best for a laptop situation- no drawers, doors, just a black laquer platform on silver legs. Nice. Great for small offices. This is currently sitting on curb on the 700 block of Mellon, waiting for someone to take it. I'll bring it in if it rains and you can call me. Christy 412-728-2869

[Highland Park] sand volleyball in the park?

Hey neighbors, Does anyone know how I would go about reserving a sand volleyball court in the park (the courts near the pool)? Is it simply first come, first served and you have to get there early to be guaranteed a game? Or can they be reserved somehow? Thanks! Erin
