Folks, An elderly woman in our church is in need of a tub chair so she can sit in the tub.....does anyone have one they can give or sell? Does anyone know of a used medical supplies place that I could purchase one if no one has one for sale? This woman is in her 80's and is being taken care of by her mentally challenged daughter....the daughter just asked me if I could find this for her mother, so I want to do all that I can to help. thanks. [Highland Park] Thomas the Tank engine set for SALE!

We have a huge Thomas the tank engine set that my son has been colletcing and playing with for years, he is now 7 years old and has outgrown the set and no longer plays with it. We have yards of track and connectors and "Y" sets (the ones that allow you to go from one track to another). We have had this train going through 2 rooms at the same time and could easily go around a Christmas tree with yards to spare. We have 2 Tunnels, 2 Stations, a total of 9 trains, and 2 houses (that go along the track). This set was built to last, and no pieces are broken and is perfect for children 3 and up. The estimated value of this set is over $250. We are asking $50 or best offer. This is a great last minute Christmas gift and will last for years to come. If anyone is aware of someone looking to rent in the area, please forward this along to them! I'm currently the tenant in this apartment, but just bought a home and need to find someone to start a new lease with the landlords January 1st. The last people I had lined up had to back out, so I'm puttin' it out there again! It's a HUGE arts and crafts style apartment on the second floor at the corner of North Negley and Callowhill in Highland Park. Single unit in a large four-unit building a few blocks from the park and a few steps from the King Estate. The apartment has its own w/d (NOT coin-op), electric cooktop stove, garbage disposal, dishwasher, and air conditioning units (two, both window units), with radiator heat. There are built-ins and hardwood floors with TONS of closet and storage space. Lots of natural light from newer windows. Parking is NEVER an issue, but there is an off-street space for one car (that comes with the apartment). The neighbors are awsome and quiet people, in no way nosey or obnoxious as some neighbors can be. It's such a great place, and I'm sad to be leaving this apartment, but I know the next tenants will love it as much as I have. The rent is $750 a month. 3bd/2ba. My parents bought me one of these Neat brand portable scanners for my birthday, but they didn't know that I already have one. So I've got a brand new, never opened, still in the box, Neat brand portable scanner. I've even still got the box they shipped it in from the company. These retail for $200, but I'm asking $175, and you can pick it up and have it today, no shipping, no waiting for it to arrive, I might even be able to deliver it right to your house. We are looking for an Accounts Payable assistant for our small but rapidly growing business, Littlearth. They would work in the accounting department entering invoices, reconciling payments, communicating with vendors and doing billing, filing etc. The position has a lot of data entry involved, so the best fit would be a person who is a fast, accurate typist, and a good problem solver. A basic understanding of accounting and some accounting experience is a plus, but an accounting degree is not necessary. The business is located on the Southside, convenient to bus routes. [Highland Park] $60 Douglas Fir available for $30

Through sheer stupidity, I purchased a truly gorgeous Douglas Fir (about 5.5 ft.) at Sestili's that is so dense and full I was unable to carry it into my house and set it up. I paid $60 for it (yesterday); I'll sell it for $30. I now own a less lush Douglas Fir from Home Depot -- same height -- which weighs less than half as much. I had no trouble setting it up. Lesson learned.
