today around noon (Saturday) i happened to look out my side window and saw a young african american man/boy around 16 or so walking thru my yard...i live in the 800 block of farragut street and have a deadend back alley...my yard is fenced in with locks....so i opened the door and said excuse me...he said he was in the back alley and wanted to get to the street i told him you dont go thru peoples yards....i told him to continue thru and not to do it again....he climbed the front gate so i went thru the house to the front and he was back over the fence, his shoe fell off and was putting it on...so he climbed again and apologized to me politely and he walked up farragut towards jackson...i checked the backyard and alley and nothing was out of the ordinary....my yard is the only one that you can see the street from the alley

[Highland Park] Rides To/From Sheldon Calvary Camp

Friends and I have arranged camp scholarships for 10 Somali refugee kids to spend a week at Calvary Camp. Eight of them will attend Coed 2 (1 Week) JUNE 26 - JULY 2 and the other 2 have a conflict and will go later in the summer. Before we come up with $500 for bus transportation, I wanted to check if anyone has extra seats in their car for the Coed 2 week and would be willing to take an extra child with them to and/or from camp. We can get them to you, so you don't have to pick them up. They are English speakers and have consistently said their week at Calvary Camp is the highlight of their year! Thanks for helping out.
