Hey everyone. My boyfriend is currently looking for a job in the HVAC field. He just graduated from tech school and we are new to the area and are looking into HVAC companies in the area. If any of you know of any companies that are hiring or even just a few names of companies in the area that would be great. He has all of his certifications and had the highest GPA in his major. We are I believe growing almost daily in awareness of the special needs and concerns of individuals and families when there has been an assessment of autism--for children, young adults, and adults. Our guest presenter at the 10 a.m. "Coffee and Conversation" program at St. Andrew's on Sunday, June 19, will be Kyle Crawford, who works with the "Perspectives" program at the University of Pittsburgh. "Perspectives" is a new research treatment of the University of Pittsburgh enrolling individuals in two therapy programs that provide support for adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders. I am re-posting this request. Olive the whippet mix is still looking for a new home (and I did recerive multiple emails about sending her to Animal Friends if she couldn't find a home on the list-serve, thank You) She has had some very interested new families but each of those families have had a more senior pet that didn't want a competing pet to join the family. Olive is a 3 year old lab- whippet mix. She is fixed and up to date with shots, Medium sized dog with high energy and really needs an owner who is looking for a companion on runs or long walks. She is great with other dogs and (when exercised) great with kids, not aggressive, and crate trained. I believe there is a good fit for Olive out there, she has great potential. email us if you are interested.
