[Highland Park] Bike needed for hard working youth

Greetings Neighbors! I am a case manager for a transitional housing program for youth who have emancipated from the foster care system. These young adults have experienced the worst of the worst but are given an opportunity in this program to make right. One of my clients is holding a job Monday through Friday for five hours a day. He used to have a bike to get to work but it is broken and he does not have the funds right now in addition to his other needs to get the bike fixed or get a new one. He now has to walk and hour to and from work. He is also a Highland Park/East Liberty resident. Does anyone have a bike that is in good, working condition they no longer need and are willing to donate it to a new home to someone who would use it everyday t? I appreciate it very much and I know he will too!! Thanks everyone! Megan

Hey Neighbors! Got any interest in hula hooping? Could you do it as a kid or have you given it a spin since? Want to give it another whirl? Well, you're in luck! The Steel City Hoop Union meets every Tuesday in Highland Park from 6:30-7:30pm. We meet rain or shine at the Union Project (801 N. Negley, corner of Stanton and Negley). When the weather is lovely we meet in the side lawn, and when it's chilly, etc., we gather indoors in the Great Hall. This hula-hoop jam is open to anyone who may have an affinity for or interest in hula-hooping. Instruction is available for wherever you may or may not be in your hoop practice, and* all ages and levels are welcome*! You're welcome to BYOH, but we also have tons of hoops available for you to use. Hiya Neighbors, I am parting ways with my LARGE christmas Nativity. It is ceramic and I antiqued the set with a light brown stain. This set has 15 pieces. The largest pieces are the camels. There are 2 standing and they are 14 inches high by 19 inches wide. Mary and Joseph are both 9 inches tall. The Kings range from the 9 inch kneeling king up to 12 inches. I am asking $80.00 obo.
