Join us for *Union Project’s Monster Open House*: Saturday April 7th, for a full day of free family-friendly, monster themed community building activities. *SCHEDULE* *9:30a-Noon:* *Neighborhood Clean-Up* Crawl out of bed for ZOMBIE Patrol: A Community Block Clean Up. Coffee, breakfast, and Goliath-sized, trash bags will be provided. Help us conquer fiendish trash, and blight on our surrounding streets! *Noon-2p:* *Colossal Community Connections * Make some colossal connections with local businesses, organizations, and artists. The day will include information, interactive activities, and giant puppets that kids can try on created by artist/performer, Cheryl Capezzuti. *Noon-2p:* *Monster Finger Puppets & Student Ceramic Showcase* Travel down to our community ceramic studio to enjoy ceramics made and curated by students of all ages and skill levels. Then bring your silliest, scariest or wackiest monsters to life during our monster finger-puppet making workshop. Our fearless leader, Executive Director Jeffrey Dorsey will present the plan with the help of wranglers from our Board of Directors. *2:30-3p*: *Monster Fashion Show* Join independent playwrights, James Jamison and Alyssa Ruggiero from “Into the Mirror Productions” as they debut costumes from their book Barnaby's Bogeymen and from their upcoming production of Monster Season. *6p-8p:* *UP a-go-go Family Dance Party* Bring your little monsters to “UP a-go-go”, an inaugural Family dance party hosted by DJ Wammo. Just a $3 donation per child. Adults free. [Highland Park] Needed: Your In-Kind Donation to A Flavor of The East End

Good Afternoon. Flavor 2012 Logo.PNGEECM's 6th Annual A Flavor of The East End is on Saturday, May 5, 2012 at Pittsburgh Opera Headquarters in the Strip. For the past few years, we have been able to get EECM supporters to donate a pair of tickets to a Steelers game for the upcoming season. We then use these tickets for our Silent Auction in a 'Steelers Season Ticket Package' which gives the auction winner two tickets to every game, but in different seats at each game! The funds raised from the Silent Auction go directly to EECM programs. I have received commitments for the 2 Preseason Games and half of the Regular Season games thus far. I am looking for 4 pairs of tickets to be donated by you, friends of yours or the company you work for to donate a pair of tickets to a regular season game for the 2012-2013 season. The schedule does not come out until mid-April so I am just looking for a commitment that you are willing to donate a pair of tickets. Dear Neighbors, I represent the shameless commerce division of Girl Scout Troop 54281. Seems that there has been a shift in return policy regarding unopened cases of Girl Scout Cookies. My Troop has 9 pristine cases (12 boxes in a case) of Girl Scout Cookies which need to be sold. I thought we were all set and could return the cookies, but no. If anyone is interested in more, MORE, mOrE Girl Scout Cookies for your household, office parties, weddings, birthday parties, please let me know and we can make an arrangement for delivery/pickup.
