Hi all, We had a VW Golf and saved a few tires in decent shape before scrapping it. Now we're hoping to unload the tires, too, since we're probably not getting another car that these tires will fit any time soon. Kumho 732 Touring PlusP185/60 R14 82T BCT JA55 Sport Radial185/60 R14 8ZH $20 each. Both are on VW rims. We also have a spare...$15. Does anyone know anything about a green Subaru that has been racing down Winterton street around 6pm last Sunday? It looks like two teenagers. I don't think it was the first time either. We have many children on our street. If you know who these kids are, I encourage you to talk to them about the dangers of joyriding down such a small and active street, let along any other road. Dear Neighbors, Please consider supporting the Allderdice Crew Team! My son Zack is a 9th grader in the Allderdice pre-engineering magnet program and is a member of the crew team. Rowing has been such a wonderful experience for him, physically and emotionally. Crew is a club sport at Allderdice, which means it is not school-sponsored, so we need to fundraise. Rowing is a great opportunity for our city kids to take advantage of what our rivers have to offer, so we'd be happy to talk to any interested students/parents. OPPORTUNITIES TO SUPPORT THE ALLDERDICE CREW TEAM: 1. Make a donation to: OAR (Organization of Allderdice Rowers. I can arrange to pick up your check and provide you with a receipt for your tax records. 2. Local business owners may donate a good or service (a gift certificate, gift basket, etc.) to be auctioned off at our fundraising event in June. [Highland Park] Volunteering for Highland Park Clean-Up

Hello everyone, The AmeriCorps program that I serve with (KEYS) is partnering with Parks Conservancy to do a massive clean-up project in Highland Park on Saturday, April 14th. Work will include trash pick-up, removal of invasive plants, and tree planting. We will be starting at 9am and working until about 1pm. We are trying to generate as many volunteers as possible! [Highland Park] Spring Yoga at Nuin

Great way to unwind from a hectic weekend! Sunday night from 6pm to 7:20pm at the Nuin Center on Bryant Street. Adrienne Barr is a gifted yoga instructor who will inspire you, as her many regular Highland Park attendees can attest. This mixed levels class leads students from the beginning level and up through a practice that includes sun salutations, standing and seated postures, beginning inversions and arm balances, a deep relaxation and seated meditation. Having taught for 13 years, Adrienne can provide a variation for the student at any level, while giving plenty of individual attention and guidance.
