[Highland Park] RSVP for the Zone 5 Public Safety Council visit to the 911 Center

The Zone 5 Citizens Public Safety Council meets monthly to discuss public safety concerns in the zone. Meetings are typically held on the second Tuesday of the month at the Union Project. However, the July meeting will take place at the Allegheny County 911 Communications Center. Please find details of this special meeting below and don't forget to RSVP. Zone 5 Citizens Public Safety Council visits the 911 Center Tuesday, July 10 7:00pm - 8:30pm (approx) 400 N. Lexington Street, North Point Breeze * You will enter through the security area. Please sign in and someone will give you directions. Please RSVP to Zone5CitizensPSC(a)gmail.com by Sunday, July 8th at 9pm so that the 911 Center can prepare appropriately. Prior to beginning the explanation and tour, there will be a brief Commander's Report. Thank you for your concern about public safety in Pittsburgh. Hello neighbors, A while ago a list of companies dealing with pruning or taking down trees was on the list serv. I would like to let you know of my experience with Treemasters, Corp. which we picked from the list. The owner (who lives in Highland Park) Brett Czarnecki and his crew did a FABULOUS job and were very reasonable.They removed an overgrown spruce which was between two houses and amazingly trimmed very tall trees. Everything was done extremely well and they left the garden raked and clean from debris. I highly recommend Treemasters, Corp. for all your tree trimming and removals. The Highland Park Community Council Kids' Committee is hosting its annual 4th of July Parade. Kids of all ages are invited to decorate their bicycle and then show off their handy work with a parade around the fountain. When: July 4 at 10 a.m. to noon Where: Highland Park -- meet near the fountain Supplies to decorate bikes, tricycles, wagons and anything else on wheels will be provided, as well as balloons and snacks. We can always use an extra pair of hands, so if you are interested in volunteering, please let Teri Rucker know via e-mail or call 412-482-2533.
