Hello, I am a graduate student within the Master of Design in Interaction Design program at Carnegie Mellon University. I am working with Allegheny County Parks for my thesis project. The purpose of the project is to identify opportunities to strengthen the parks service. [Highland Park] Special craft program for kids at East Liberty library on Saturday

Kids can decorate a ceramic bowl (to keep) for way less than you'd pay in a store: Carnegie Library of East Liberty is holding a special program on Saturday, Oct. 6th, in partnership with Kiln-n-Time pottery studio. Come down to CLP East Liberty to register, in the Children's room. The cost is $5 (paid in advance), which is less than 1/3 of what it would cost to do the same thing in store. We have reservation slots remaining, but it's limited to 20 kids. The program is from 11 am to noon, in the library. I'd love to see some Highland Park folks there. Dear Highland Park Neighbors, Thought I would put this on the Highland Park list before I post it anywhere else. I am selling my beloved Subaru Outback. I bought it new in 2003 and it has fewer than 40,000 miles (it's one of two family cars, and is mostly only used when I need to use the wagon for hauling stuff from Home Depot). It was the top of the line Outback when I bought it, and is still fabulous! Here is the ad I wrote up for Craig's List 2003 Subaru L.L. Bean Edition., only 39,900 miles, loaded with every option including the superior optional 3.0L 6-cyl. engine, AWD, cruise control, halogen fog lights, dual moonroofs, heated leather-trimmed seats and heated mirrors, premium audio package including 6-CD changer in dash and 11 audio speakers, alloy wheels, roof rack, etc. This is a low mileage, one owner, dealer-maintained, clean, always garaged, car, with all records available for all care. New tires, brakes and passed inspection this spring. This is a great car that has lived a pampered life and needs absolutely nothing. Everything from the power moonroofs to the AC works perfectly. All maintenance records available, as well as clean title. The car does show signs of normal wear and has dings on the body, which are strictly cosmetic. Priced to move.
