Highland Park: St. Andrew's collecting linens for Off the Floor

Hello neighbours, St. Andrew's is collecting new bed linens for Off the Floor Pittsburgh. These can be sheets, blankets or comforters in twin, full or queen size. They do not need to be complete sets, individual items are welcome. There will be a blue bin on the porch of the Rectory (5801 Hampton St.) where these items can be placed. We are collecting these items from August 27 through September 17. If you are not familiar with Off the Floor Pittsburgh, they are a furniture bank that provides used furniture to families in need. When deliveries are made to families they receive a set of new bed linens. They are a long term outreach partner with St. Andrew's. Thank you

They are very responsible tenants and are looking to relocate to a newer 2 bedroom apartment or home in HP or surrounding areas. I have two unopened 10 pound bags of granulated sugar from Sam's club.I think my niece bought them at the start of lock-down, when she was doing a lot of baking.The expiration dates on them are March and April 2021. I think sugar can get stale, butnot sure how long that takes.If anyone can use it, please contact me and we can arrange pickup. Nora

Looking for Part-Time Nanny

Hi Everyone, We’re looking for a part time nanny in Highland Park. We are looking for one to two days per week, but we can be flexible. We have two little girls and a wonderful black lab who is a retired therapy dog. The position would mostly be watching our two year old, as our five year old is in kindergarden most of the day (two year old does 3 half days per week at a local preschool).
