Hi all! Due to a change in our working and living arrangements, we are looking for part-time childcare (~20 hours / week) for our 2.5 y/o son beginning in the next 4-6 weeks. We have checked with a couple of the bigger providers in the East End, and wait lists are long! That is very good advice Diane and Danielle-- I for one, will be informing anyone I see doing this, to *please take their poo home!* Also, double-bagging makes a lot of sense, especially if it's going to sit in the trash days before pick-up. Ack! Also, If you all will indulge me, I'd like to share a similar experience with diaper poo. I had a neighbor many years ago, who insisted on putting her baby's diapers in MY trash. She would literally walk to the end of the block and stash them. While odd, I never really made a thing out of it, since my trash cans were pretty big...that is until summer, when her new born's diapers were especially ripe. One day, I called out my window, but she pretended not to hear. In spite of the flies, I picked out the diapers with my gardening gloves, followed her home and put them on her porch. Never had that problem again!
